Absolute OrLuxe was founded in 2011 by a family of gemologists who believed that the journey of a gemstone — from its raw discovery to its final, lustrous setting — was as precious as the stone itself.

What began as a small, specialized practice in rare stone procurement has grown into a fully licensed, vertically integrated jewelry house. Our USA refinery license, earned in 2013, opened the door to a level of quality control that set us apart from every competitor in the market.

Today, we serve discerning clients from coast to coast, offering bespoke experiences that combine the intimacy of a family atelier with the sophistication of a world-class luxury brand.

2011

Foundation

Absolute OrLuxe is founded as a specialized rare gemstone procurement house, establishing direct partnerships with ethical mining operations across three continents.

2013

USA Refinery License Obtained

After rigorous testing and compliance reviews, we receive our full USA refinery and gemological laboratory license — enabling in-house grading and certification.

2015

Custom Jewelry Division Launched

We expand our atelier to include full bespoke jewelry design services, hiring GIA-certified master jewelers to bring client visions to life.

2017

Estate Division Opens

We launch our estate jewelry appraisal and resetting division, providing heirloom clients with a trusted partner for their most sentimental pieces.

to the Lab to You

The jewelry industry's greatest challenge is transparency. Gemstones pass through many hands — miners, dealers, brokers, setters — before reaching a jeweler's display case. Each handoff creates opportunity for misrepresentation, inflation, and ethical compromise.

Absolute OrLuxe solved this by building the entire supply chain in-house. We work directly with certified mining operations, refine and grade stones in our own USA-licensed laboratory, and employ our own master jewelers. The result is complete traceability, superior quality, and significantly better value for our clients.

With over two decades of experience in luxury gemstones and bespoke jewelry, Anna Vargas founded Absolute OrLuxe in 2011 with a singular vision: to bring complete transparency and uncompromising quality to every piece that leaves our atelier.

A GIA-certified gemologist and graduate of the finest design schools, Anna personally oversees every stage of the Mine to Lab process — ensuring that each creation embodies the standard of excellence our clients have come to trust.
